Merricks General Store

Merricks General Store is a Mornington Peninsula icon, a meeting place for the local community and visitors alike since it was built by the Joyner family in 1922. In 2008, the Myer and Baillieu families breathed new life into the historic location.

Merricks General Store, with its distinctive bullnose verandah, is perfectly situated between the Mornington Peninsula's rolling hills and beautiful coastline. Today it is a providore, bistro, event space and cellar door to Elgee Park and Baillieu Vineyard. Just behind the store lies Merricks House, an award winning heritage site now home to The Traders boutique homewares and Merricks Pantry house-made produce.

Merricks General Store offers a selection of single vineyard wines that, like the cellar door itself, capture the charm of the Mornington Peninsula. Elgee Park's Estate Grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay stand out.
